Dr. Moustafa Elfeki, Director of the Library of Alexandria, said that Egypt aims first and foremost for the stability of Libya and the exit of thousands of mercenaries from it, noting that one of the best merits of the ruling era of President Sisi is his foreign policy and the independency of the Egyptian decision-making.
He added, in a TV interview via Skype with host Sherif Amer, as part of the program Yahdoth fi Masr (Happening in Egypt), that the initiative of the “Cairo Declaration” gained international legitimacy hours after its launch. He also stressed the fact that the international support for the Egyptian initiative regarding Libya gave it strong credibility, and no one could reject it except Turkish President, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
