Dr. Moustafa Elfeki, Director of the Library of Alexandria, took part in “Egypt in a Changing World” Conference, which was organized by the Future University in Egypt, and held on Saturday, 14 November 2020. The conference was attended by Dr. Hesham Tawfik, Minister of Public Enterprise Sector, and a number of political, economic, and scientific figures in Egypt.
Dr. Elfeki emphasized the importance of creating channels of international cooperation, commending the Cypriot-Egyptian and Greco-Egyptian relations, as well as President Sisi’s efforts in this respect.
Moreover, he touched upon Egypt’s relations with Africa, saying, “We considerably mishandled our relations with Africa in the past, but President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi succeeded in restoring these relations, and was supportive of the African continent in several international events during Egypt's presidency of the African Union.”
