Dr. Moustafa Elfeki, Director of the Library of Alexandria, said that the Egyptian state is focusing at this stage on economic reform and urban planning, highlighting the fact that Egypt is waging a fierce war against terrorism and terrorist organizations.
He added that Egypt would never fall off track, and that there would not be any initiative implemented in the Arab region without the participation of Egypt, noting that President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi had successfully thwarted a scheme that aimed to destroy the country. He also emphasized that Egypt is on the right track, and is witnessing a renaissance which should be supported by all Egyptians.
Furthermore, Dr. Maged Negm, President of Helwan University, said that Dr. Moustafa Elfeki “has been a remarkable figure since he was a student, in addition to being a creative intellectual and a great politician.”
He added: “Dr. Elfeki never sought any position. It was the other way around. People are always striving to learn from his immense knowledge … He is an incredible visionary and a true insightful figure.”
These views were shared during a seminar entitled “What’s Happening around Us”, at Helwan University.
