Dr. Moustafa Elfeki, Director of the Library of Alexandria, said that President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi’s visit to Jordan was part of the bilateral discussions between Egypt and Jordan concerning the current state of affairs in the Arab region, particularly in light of a new American administration.
He added, in his interview with Sherif Amer on MBC Masr, that Egypt and Jordan share the same moral obligation towards the Palestinian cause, and that both countries are working to alleviate the suffering of the Palestinian people.
With regard to his recently published memoir, Elfeki recalled his memories as a Secretary of Information to the late President Hosni Mubarak, noting that the latter did not give sufficient attention to the opposition, and ignored the dissenting views and opinions written about him in the newspapers.
