Dr. Mostafa el Feki, Director of the BA, will be convening with several intellectuals, academics, distinguished political figures, media personnel, and civil work leaders in an open discussion to listen to their opinions and suggestions concerning the future of the BA. The discussion is set to be held on Thursday and Friday, 13–14 July 2017.
Dr. El Feki stated that this assembly is part of a series of other open discussions that aim to present a variety of suggestions concerning the future of the BA. He also noted that the Library’s national, regional, and international achievements over the years necessitate sustaining the BA’s statues, facing debilitating obstacles, and lunching new initiatives.
Dr. El Feki then added that the BA is currently concerned with focusing on a number of primary issues, such as empowering the youth, actuating their role in society, and becoming a vital place that welcomes diverse opinions and perspectives.
During the upcoming period, the BA will start achieving the goals of a plan set to be executed within the upcoming five years. The Library will focus on publishing in Arabic, English, and French and expanding its efforts in translating publications into Arabic, especially in the field of Human Science. It will also strive to offer various new services to researchers.
