Dr. Moustafa Elfeki, Director of the BA, took part in the 38th Meeting for Friendship Among Peoples (the Rimini Meeting) in Rimini, Italy, on 25 August 2017. The meeting, which was entitled “When Religions Give a Hope: the Pope in Egypt” saw Dr. Elfeki’s participation, along with several prominent figures in the fields of academia and journalism. Dr. Elfeki discussed the importance of religions and religious diversity in creating societies that understand and practice the noble values of tolerance and accepting the other.
The meeting was moderated by Dr. Wael Farouq, Professor of Arabic Language and Literature, at the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart, Milan.
