Dr. Moustafa Elfeki, Director of the BA, General Ahmed Fouad, Deputy Governor of Cairo, and Memebr of the Parliment Ismail Nasr Eldine inaugurated Princess Khadija’s Palace in Helwan, Cairo, which is affiliated to the BA Cultural Outreach Sector. The event took place on Sunday, 27 October 2019.
Dr. Elfeki said that Princess Khadija’s Palace is a center of culture and enlightenment to people of different ages and social backgrounds. He also highlighted the important role played by other significant cultural establishments that lie outside the BA premises in Alexandria, such as Sinnari House (Cairo) and the Center for Documentation of Cultural and Natural Heritage (Smart Village).
The event included the opening of the Children and Young People Library, “The Journey of Writing in Egypt” exhibition, “The Helwan Exhibition for Handicrafts”, “The Exhibition of Arabic Calligraphy”, and the “Wonders of Science” exhibition for children.
