Dr. Moustafa Elfeki, Director of the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, met with a group of Francophone students studying at Egyptian universities. The meeting was held at the BA on Tuesday, 4 February 2020.
In his speech, Dr. Elfeki said that Egypt had never interfered in the internal affairs of any country, except when there was an attack by a foreign country on an Arab country. He also noted that the issue of the Nile water is a priority to Egypt, and highlighted the positive role played by the United States in this matter.
Moreover, he commended the foreign policy adopted by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, as he managed to overcome the barrier between the East and the West, and benefit from his presidency of the African Union to transform Cairo into a leading political capital.
